And The Bachelor chose....
Well, that's not a clear cut answer! Did you watch last night? I was in tears! In the 2 hr finale, Jason, the single dad from Seattle, chose Melissa, got down on 1 knee, and proposed! She accepted, and they were to live "happily ever after!" Then, onto the "After the Final Rose" special, which was taped 6 weeks after the proposal. Jason revealed to Chris Harrison, the host, that since the cameras stopped rolling, things have been different between the 2 of them, and he can't get runner-up Molly out of his head. So, he dumps Melissa (I felt really bad for her, although she wasn't completely blindsided, she had known that things weren't good between them), and asks Molly to give him another shot! Molly was thrilled, and revealed that her feelings have not changed for him either! So, tonight in After the Final Rose Part 2, we'll get a Molly/Jason update! OMG! I don't know why I watch this show...and I will tell you, I'm done! This is it for me...no more! It takes a decent, good guy like Jason, and the great girls, and messes with their emotions by putting them in this fantasy world where of course it seems real for that moment! Now, I know what you're thinking...nobody forces them to go on the show, but, still! Now, Jason's gonna get a bunch of crap for being honest, and admitting maybe he wasn't the right person to do the show, because he's a genuine guy, who got caught up in the fairy tale...who wouldn't! UGH!!! I'm never watching again, but, I do hope Molly & Jason stay together...they're really cute...but, of course, they don't know each other very well, in the real world yet! We'll see!

I'm gonna be completely honest here. I don't watch it, never have, but I watched last night, and even my jaw was on the floor with "after the final rose". I don't feel bad for Melissa. She had an attitude when she came out, and I'm sure she went into bitch mode as soon as the cameras stopped rolling. It takes a real man to admit he may have made a mistake. Every girls dream is to have a man that hurt you bad say, "I made a mistake and I have been thinking of you". She may have given him a hard time if he can't come up with the answers she is looking for. Don't give up on the show Chris. They won't all end up like this.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't disagree more with Link 15! If you didn't see the show you saw only a brief glimpse of Melissa. I think the problem is with Jason. It seems to me that he didn't try that hard with Melissa and makes me wonder why his first marriage ended. Even tho Melissa knew something was wrong, it was totally classless of him to dump her on TV! A real man wouldn't do that to someone they cared about- especially since it happened to him with DeAnna!! He should never have proposed to Melissa in New Zealand right after he was so broken up about Molly And I do like Molly but unfortunately I don't think the romance will last. Molly seems like a spoiled rich girl to me who will be jealous of the attention Jason will have to pay to Ty and his ex wife. She is only 24. I think she should have waited. It won't work. And Chris, I'm with you! I don't ever want to watch again.. but in all honesty I probably will...
