Did some baby shopping the other day at Babies R Us...love that store...so many cool things! Walking around, checking things out, I realized that there's a ton of really cool stuff for babies now, that didn't exist when I had Brady...and that was only 3 years ago! There's this thing called the Bumbo seat to sit the baby in, so they sit with the proper posture, before they're able to sit up on their own...and a spa tub for babies...I'm not joking...a spa tub! I can definitely use 99% of the stuff I had from Brady...stroller, car seat, swing, etc...but, I'm loving some of this new updated stuff!
Moms...did you notice this too? What's out now that didn't exist when you had your last baby?

My best friend is expecting in May, so I had to go to babies R us the other day to pick her up some things & wound up buying her the Bumbo! It is amazing, my other friend had it for her daughter & it really helps the baby learn to sit up on their own and its better than just plopping them down in a bouncer seat....I also came across a bouncer seat that has a I-pod dock attached to it!

ReplyDeleteyou must go to Babies/Toys-R-US when they have their clearance sale on childrens clothes. UNREAL bargains. I go at least 3 times a year for clothes for my girls.

I'm a mom of two (6 1/2 yr old and 6 months old) and the owner of College Nannies & Tutors (I recruit nannies & tutors from local schools such as TCNJ, Rider and place them into your home). ReplyDeleteAnd did you sign up for the Babies R Us/Toys R Us rewards card? It just figures that after 6 years of spending hundreds of dollars there, they come out with a card now, when I won't need one much longer for my 18 month old twins. But hopefully you will reap the rewards!

ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you mean about all the new stuff out there for babies. I have 4 boys, the youngest two are 8 years apart. Last year, when I was looking to buy baby stuff for the new arrival, I couldn't believe all the interesting stuff out there. I was going to just buy the same stuff I had for my other three, but I wound up buying so much more. They even have a pacifier cleaner. Can you believe it? Have fun shopping for your little girl.

ReplyDeleteI too am due in about a month! It will be our third and my youngest will be 3 in August. I found there to be so many new things out too! I ended up buying the bumbo seat and I needed a new stroller. We bought the sit n stand...I know it is meant for two but I'm told you can have the baby in the front, one sit and need be one stand. I also love the diapees and wipees holder that you can just throw in your pocketbook! Good Luck and Enjoy!
