Maybe Next Week!

I was so excited...Brady was starting swim lessons on Saturday! He loves the water! My father-in-law has an inground pool, and he loves splashing around! He can even swim with one of those lifejacket suits, but I really wanted him to take lessons so he would know what to do if he fell in, or just so he can swim without that bulky lifejacket! Brady's pretty shy when first meeting people or in new situations, so I signed up for private lessons to alleviate his fear of lots of new people (I knew that wouldn't be good). The only new person would be the instructor. We had talked it up all week, so Saturday wouldn't come as such a shock, and he seemed really excited! Again, he loves the water and has even gone off the diving board at my father-in-law's pool! When John & Brady got there, he went into shy mode, which I fully expected, but usually within 10-15 min or so, he warms up and is fine. Well, not this time! He never even got in the pool! HAHA! Poor thing! He wasn't feelin' it! The instructor was so nice...something tells me he's not the only kid that didn't get in the pool for their 1st lesson! I really think he'll be better this week, 'cause the "newness" is over...I hope! HAHA! We're still talking it up and he says he's going to go in...we'll see!
