Who's Your Daddy?

We had a great Memorial Day weekend...parades, bbqs, family, friends, etc...hopefully, you did too! Bailey, who turns 1 in 2 weeks, had so much fun waving to EVERYONE in the parade...she had a flag in one hand, and did her baby wave with the other! So cute! She starting to become much more vocal these days, but, obviously, can't say many words...just the typical baby ones...gaga (swear she's already a Lady Gaga fan!), dada, baba, an occasional mama...you know! The one she says the most is Dada...which John loves! All we hear is Dada, Dada, Dada! Sometimes when she says it, it can make for an awkward moment or two! We had a few over the weekend! It's easy to laugh off the ones with our friends...she's pointed to John's buddies and said, Dada, and we all crack up and wink at each other! But, in the grocery store yesterday, she's was very talkative...every man she saw, she said, Dada! A few gave us weird looks and ran to another aisle, most thought it was adorable, but I still felt the need to loudly say, "We'll go home to see Dada as soon as we're done shopping!" HAHA! Oh yeah, I almost forgot the couple who walked past us, and I heard the girl snap at her man, "You know that baby just called you Dada!" Like it was for real...crazy! She was a little insecure, huh?
