The day we came home from the beach we unpacked the car and started the laundry right away...there was a ton of it! We got about 3 or 4 loads in and John smelled burning! Sure enough, it was the washer...it was spinning away and wouldn't stop and wouldn't drain either...wonderful! Thank God most of it was done, but we had to bring some stuff over to his mother's...what a pain! We got right on the phone with the repairman, and scheduled an appointment for Wed (yesterday) afternoon. He'd be there any time between 1 & 5pm...you gotta love those long windows! They even called Tues evening to confirm that he would be there the next day. I rush out of work, pick up Bailey, and we make it home by 1pm on the nose just incase he showed up right at 1. Yeah right! No truck. We go inside and see we have a voicemail message. It's the repair service calling to say the repairman has to reschedule! What? I just rushed to be home and now he's not coming? I have laundry piling up! I'm home in the afternoons, so not earth-shaking for me to reschedule to today, same window, but what about all the people who would have had to take the afternoon or whole day off from work to be home to meet the repairman, 0nly to have him cancel at the last minute? I was annoyed! So I called and pretended that I had to take the day off work to be there and asked if there was anyone else that could come out. Nope! The girl understood why I was annoyed, but couldn't help me at all. I feel so bad for those of you who have been inconvenienced like that! All I'm saying is he better show up today! :)

I hear ya. I'm a stay-at-home Mom now...I used to teach elementary school. Anyway, one time I left work early to take my daughter to the doctor, and as I'm pulling in the parking lot my cell phone rang. It was the doctor's office calling to reschedule because they were over scheduled for the day and were canceling some of the well check-ups. I mean come on, you have the appointment book in front of you so you know what time I'm scheduled for. They couldn't have called earlier?!? I know how you feel....some people just have no brains or common courtesy. Hope they come today!!!!
