A Hand-Shaking World Record!?!

I went to NYC for a little Girls Weekend! Our hotel room was overlooking Times Square...so cool! We had so much fun...we saw a few shows, ate, drank & were very merry! You do see some strange things in NYC though! We were getting out of the elevator at the hotel to hit the streets and saw a big commotion...2 men continuously shaking hands while they're walking, being videoed by a camera crew & followed by people who were carrying clipboards that read, "Guiness Book of World Records." Huh? You know me, I had to see what was going on, so I followed too. These guys were trying to break the record for the longest handshake...yup, the longest handshake. They were headed to Times Square, where there were more people doing the same thing, shaking hands over and over and over again! Weird! My first thought was, "I want in!" I want to be a part of this record, so I started shaking people's hands that were near me. But, I would have had to have chosen one person to shake with for a very long time! Nah! There are soooo many pointless World Records in the Guiness Book. The more impressive records would be physical ones how many consecutive sit-up one person could do, etc. Who cares about a continuous handshake? Just sayin'! :)

Although I do like the longest fingernails! LOL!
