I'm suffering from PHD!
Are you? PHD is short for Post Holiday Depression! Well, I'm exaggerating a little...shocking for me, isn't it? Lol! We had a fabulous holiday, but, I'm actually glad all the decorations are away...everything's back in order...we're back to "normal" with school & work schedules, etc. But, I'm missing all the parties & get-togethers...we have no social plans yet for the upcoming year! I love hanging out with my friends and family! We saw sooo many people over the holidays, and I want that to continue. I expressed my concern to John last night at dinner, and he shot me a really mean look! He's kinda glad that all the running around is done. The look got even meaner when I suggested throwing a party at our house soon...maybe a dinner party for VDay or something! I feel like I need to plan something fun! You know what I mean? It's kinda like after your wedding...such a letdown...all the planning is done!
Do you suffer from PHD?

I held a party a few years ago and I called it a "Just Because" party...I sent out invitations and had it like in January or February - it was a hit because of the timing - everyone was bored and wanted something to do. I had platters of food and finger foods and lots of "beverages". I had probably 30-40 people at that party. So yes I definitely can relate and I always love a party!
ReplyDeleteIm with Lisa --- you dont need a reason to have a party. Especially in the Winter when no one really sees their friends as much, I think its a great idea!
