Awesome. I suggested Bailey and Mackenzie! All of your first name choices are great, but I'm not crazy about Camryn. That's the only exception for me. Best of luck, Chris!
ReplyDeleteI heard your list today...too cute. I have two girls. My eight-year-old is Emily Elizabeth and my one-year-old is Abigail Grace. We also call her Abby as you mentioned you would. I LOVE the name...so of course that's my vote! Best of luck!
ReplyDeleteLove the Big Brother and Little Sister combo names of Brady and Brianna. My suggestion would be Brianna Lee since that is your sister's name...and Wendy's middle name!
ReplyDeleteBest of Luck!!! You will be missed while you are gone. Don't forget to come back!!!!
Chris:
ReplyDeleteOk, HOW COOL is it that you picked BOTH of our girls' names in your list: Abigail and Hannah.
My "Abby" is right here with me! She is 10 years old. She says she loves her name. Well, she corrected me, she likes "Abby" but not "Abigail". She thinks she will like Abigail when she is an old lady :) hmmmm....maybe 41, like me?????
I wanted her name to be Audrey, but her Dad vetoed that and switched it to Abby. :)
She is definitely an Abby: full of SPUNK,and ENERGY and really, really FUNNY!
I vote for "Abby".
Hannah is our oldest and she is 12 years old. Although "Abigail Hannah" doesn't really flow together; I think there's a "rule of thumb" that if you have a 3 syllable first name you should have a 1 syllable middle name. Our Abby's full name is "Abigail Jane."
If you leave the "h" on the end then she can write her name on a piece of paper and hold it up in the mirror and it looks exactly the same (not backwards). It's called a palindrome (like racecar).
Abby and I feel like we know you guys because we listen to you every morning while we get ready for school. :)
Best wishes and have a great labor and a great baby! I wish you NO PAIN!!! :) (Mom of 3 C-sections) It was worth it....!!!!
love,
Jenny T.
My niece's name is Camryn spelled the same way! I just had a baby girl in November and named her Aleece Violetta. I do love the names on your list though! Good luck & best wishes to you & John!
ReplyDeleteChloe Zoey. But spell it Zoe. Chloe Zoe.
ReplyDeleteI like almost all the names, but Bella is just toooo trendy with the Twilight series. I would steer clear of that one if you want an unusual name for your daughter and not have her in a class with other "Bella's" when she starts school.
ReplyDeleteI really like Abigail, Brianna, and Mackenzie for the first names. I have to tell you that one of our favorite TV shows is NCIS and we love the Abby character on there played by Pauley Perrette. So I'd have to say Abby gets my nubmer one vote for a first name from your list. Unfortunately, I know too many people with dogs that are named Bailey to want to see a child with that name. Most of the dogs were named Bailey because the color of their coats resembles that of Bailey's Irish Cream...
For a middle name I'd have to choose Lynne (yes with an e) because that is my youngest daughters middle name, she's Samantha Lynne. I kind of like the way Abigail Lynne sounds, Abby Lynne sounds even better....
Although, just as an aside, my best friends daughter is Megan Rose, and I love that one too... Good luck with everyhthing, wishing you a somewhat painless labor and definitely a short one!!!
Bella Rose is beautiful!!,,,, After two boys I finally had a girl and I named her Alexa Rae. Good luck! Mary Ellen
ReplyDeleteI do like your lists for the most part, but there are a few I would change for first & middle. I know that you and your hubby have made your name choices and I'm sorry I missed my imput, but what about the names Romey or Calista? I love those names! If I had a little girl I would have named her one of those, but I have two boys Bryce & Reid, which are my pride and joy!
ReplyDeleteIam loving Bella Grace....Brady and Bella sounds so cute together.....Bella means beautiful in Italian
ReplyDeleteBella is a gorgeous name. I like Bella Grace, Also combo Jamilyn is cool. Good luck to you Chris. We will miss you when your gone. Take it easy, for you will have your hands full with the two little ones, any name you pick, I'm sure you and John will both love. Best of Luck!!!!
ReplyDeleteJamie gets my vote for the first name for your daughter! Not only does it goes well with Brady, but it is also unisex like your name, Chris. Plus, research shows that girls with names that are also boys' names tend to be more successful {probably due to the absolutely false notion many execs have that men are somehow better for a job than women, but that's a whole nother issue...) Anyway, if you do choose Jamie, pretty please don't choose Lynn as the middle name, so she doesn't feel as though she was named from a Spear!
ReplyDeleteGood Luck with the choices. I like Mackenzie Grace.
ReplyDeleteHmm...Camryn Lee Collins has a nice ring. But soe doesAbigail Rose or Bella Grace and I'm liking Emma Zoey too, altho I'd spell it the traditional way - Zoe. How are you ever gonna decide?! And actually, I like Rayna for a first name - Rayna Lynn. Glad I don't have to make the decision on this. Can't wait to hear what little Ms Collins name will be! Best of luck to you and yours.
ReplyDeleteMy nieces name is Jamie Lynn.My favorite that you have on your list is Brianna Rose.Whatever you choose good luck when you are in labor.I hope its not too long.
ReplyDeleteI like Abigail Rose Rollins it sounds good together,it reminds me of a princess's name. If my son was a girl he would have been an Amber Leigh. Good Luck!!!
ReplyDeleteOk here it is Isabella (Bella) Rose Rollins
ReplyDeleteIsabella, a notable bearer of this name was the powerful ruling Queen Isabella of Castile, who sponsored the exploration of (Chris)topher Columbus. It just fits!
Good luck Chris!!!
Ali B
Chris,
ReplyDeleteI love Bella Grace! Bella and Brady ~ oh what a combination!!! Good luck with your delivery. Can't wait until you come back!
Just an FYI....I am a teacher of pre K-5th grade and every name you picked, we have at least 2 of each name, if not more....they are all popular names, so by the time she starts school, don't be surprised if there are more then one with her name in her class. (Bella is popular due to the "Twilight" series) Best of luck!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the name Jamie. Here's another suggestion for a middle name "Kelly." My daughter's name is Jaclyn Kelly. Jamie Kelly sounds really good to me!
ReplyDeleteAll the Best to you and yours for a wonderful new baby girl. Enjoy every minute as it goes way too fast. My baby girl is going to college in the Fall.
Mackenzie Lynn, Emma Zoe, and Bailey Anne are all really pretty, and names I can see you picking! Good luck with everything!!
ReplyDeleteChloe Lynn, Emma Rose, and Bella Grace all sound good to me! Good luck with everything! You will be missed
ReplyDeleteI think the best names would be Bailey, Madison, or Megan. I like Madison because my dad was going to name me Madison and my mom was going to name me Sydney! None of them won. Megan, because it's classic. Bailey, because it sounds like a sweet name.
ReplyDeleteChris, Emma and Bella are way too over used. Bailey is a dogs name. Jaime, Chloe and Camryn are very cute! Picking names are soooo hard and the problem could be our input! When you see your beautiful baby girl you'll know what to name her. We couldn't choose a name for our daughter either. But when we heard our 3 year old call her one of our choices, we were sold on the name: Rachel! What's Brady like? I like a sentimental family name for the middle name. Jamie Christine??? My daughter's after my mother's given Polish name: Krystyna. Best of luck for a safe and easy delivery and a healthy, happy baby girl!
ReplyDeleteEmma Grace is the best name.
ReplyDeletethe sound of your name is so important to your self-esteeme. the number of combined syllables...the musical sound...really matters. personally, i love the sound of "abigail lee rollins". besides having a nice beat, it also sounds girly, pure, retro and today all at the same time. my two daughters are in their 30s. #1 was named amy lee (after our boat)and #2 named tara leigh (i watched gone wth th wind the nite be4 she was born - "tara" for the plantation and "leigh" 4 vivian leigh!). i still like their names but suggest you put more thought into this decision than i did!
ReplyDeleteHi Chris!!
ReplyDeleteI got so excited when I heard on the radio that your baby is due on June 15th, because that's my birthday!! Then I heard you say that one of the first names you like is Abigail, and that is my name! I go by Abbie, with an ie. Then I got even more excited when a middle name you said was Lynne, that's my middle name! I think Abigail Lynne is a great name, I love it!
I like Bailey Madison but I think it should be spelled Bailee since Lee is your middle name and your husband likes Madison.
ReplyDeleteI think Bella or Belle is just too trendy and I do know you are a fan of "Days of Our Lives". Emma is nice but I also like Madelyn Grace Rollins...it flows nicely. PLease don't pick Rose as a middle name....doesn't work well with Rollins.
ReplyDeleteI wish you an "easy" delivery on June 13th!!! LOL May daughter was born on Friday June 13th years ago!!!
Emma Grace all the way!!!! Good Luck Chris. When you see your beautiful daughter, you will know instantly what her name will be. I love Emma, my daughter is 3 and her name is Emma Isabel. I surely will miss you while you're gone!
ReplyDeletemy vote is for Abigail Rose. love both names. i wanted Abigail for my daughter but my last name is Agabiti! try saying that 10 times!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, Rose is the perfect middle name. so beautiful, girly and timeless! noy a fan of Camryn! just putting in my 2 cents!
Bailey Lynn just sounds so cute, and the Bailey/Brady combo would be so nice.
