Can you believe my Maternity Leave is already over? Bailey's 3 months old, and is smiling, cooing, and doing other adorable new baby things! My 1st day back was weird at first (all I've done for 3 months is change diapers, etc.), but then it was like riding a bike! It was definitely easier coming back after the 2nd child. I remember w/Brady feeling sick to my stomach and breaking out in crying fits! Although, I have to admit, I haven't stopped thinking about her all morning! John told me Brady was upset this morning because I wasn't home. He got used to having Mommy home in the morning...my poor little guy!
Moms - Was it hard for you to go back to work after kids?
Anyway, glad to be back!

I am due with my first child in October....I am DREADING going back already and haven't even had him yet.
ReplyDeleteI had four kids and was fortunate not to have to work. I give you a lot of credit, it must be hard to leave them. I don't think I could have handled working full time. Good luck Chris, and glad to have you back!!
ReplyDeleteI went back to work when my daughter was 6 weeks old. It wasn't that hard because I didn't have a choice and she stayed with my sister in law at first. She went into a daycare at 3 1/2 months old which was close to my work so I use to visit her at lunchtime. Good luck to John in the morning with the two kids.
