Best Pancakes Ever!

The fire department my husband works for had a big fundraising pancake breakfast yesterday morning at the firehouse. You know, the kind you went to as a kid...they pull the firetrucks outside, set up tables, and you eat right there in the firehouse. The kids all get firehats & coloring books, the Ladies Auxiliary was selling Easter flowers, and you can take your kid's picture out by the firetrucks. Good, old-fashioned fun! Loved it! If you've ever been to one of these...maybe in your town the Lion's Club or other group does one, you know how good the food is...the best pancakes, the most delicious sausage, the crispiest bacon...even the toast was fabulous! I'm sure you've made that same stuff at home, right? Why is it never as good (not even close) as the firehouse pancake breakfast food? We were laughing about it...John makes that same breakfast for us at home, and the firehouse food was soooo much better...sorry honey! HAHA!

It's the same thing at restaurants...you make yourself salads at home or whatever, but the ones in the restaurant are soo much better! Even grilled cheese is better out! HAHA!
