I can't believe she asked me that!

My parents came over for a visit yesterday afternoon. I haven't seen them since my big "girls weekend" away in Atlantic City last weekend. So my mom asked, "How was girls weekend? How old are their kids again" and other "girl" questions. With that, my dad ran towards the front door, asking Brady if he would PLEASE go outside with Pop Pop, so he didn't have to endure the girl talk we were about to have...too funny! We're chatting, and she says she heard me on the radio talking about some of it. She wanted to know if I got any sleep at all because we had gone out "clubbing"...that's actually what she said....she knows how sleep deprived I already am because of the baby! I told her that we had only gone to one club, and no, I hadn't gotten a lot of sleep. Then she asked, "Did you meet any guys?" WHAT?????? I couldn't believe what I just heard! I whipped my head around, I have to admit a little annoyed, and stated the obvious, "Mom, I'm married!" Like she doesn't know that! She said, "I know...I meant did any guys come up to you?" I was very confused! Why was she asking me that? Was she just trying to be "cool?" Who knows! Looking back though, it was funny! Maybe she wants to go clubbing! HAHA!
