Have you ever been to the grocery store and not come home with everything that you bought?
Happened to me over the weekend! I put a box of Special K crackers in my cart...I know I did, because it was the last box they had on the shelf and I was excited that I got it! The thing is, I don't remember seeing it after that. It couldn't have fallen out of the cart...it was one of the first things that I picked up...it was buried underneath everything. I went to find it last night to pack some to bring to work this morning, and it's nowhere to be found. The only thing I can think of is that it's in the trunk of my car...maybe it fell out of the bag or something. I know I paid for it because I checked my receipt.
It's driving me crazy!

This has happened to me before. I just go back to the store with my receipt and tell them I didn't get it. Some stores keep a log of items left at the register. Another thing that has happened to me is I have had an item on my receipt and I have no idea what it is! I also take those back to the store and they can tell me what it is (since most items are abbreviated on the receipt). Sometimes I'll be like, "Oh yeah!" but once in a while I did not buy that so I get a refund.
