It's my 9th wedding anniversary today! Wow...time flies! Wish I could do it all over again...same guy...love him so much! I remember my wedding day like it was yesterday, although a friend of mine "facebooked me" this morning saying that he remembers us doing shots that day...I don't remember that at all! What I do remember is my dad giving a speech welcoming everyone and forgetting my name! He said something like, "Just want to congratulate John and...ummm...ummm...I had to yell out, Chris! HAHA! My twin sister had just gotten married six months before me, so I think he was going to say her name! Funny! Thanks Dad! HAHA!
Any embarrassing/funny stories from your wedding day?
After they were pronounced man & wife, Dave's wife turned around and started walking out of the church without even kissing him! Poor Dave! He had to grab her & say, "Hey, what about my kiss?" HAHA!

Thats pretty funny your father forgot your name but understandable with your twin sister just getting married as well.
ReplyDeleteOn our wedding day...as we were cutting the cake our knife broke and my husband held up the knife and asked if this was a sign. It was really funny, we totally didn't expect that at all. Our videographer sent in the wedding tape of it and it was on TLC's Wild Wedding for a while.
My husband and I will be married 6 years this October. When we were cutting our cake and then about to give eachother a bite, my husband decided to shove the cake into my face. I made him promise not to do that. I was so mad I made a fist, with the cake in my hand, and punched him in the nose. I gave him a bloody nose and everyone thought that I had broken it. Thankfully it wasn't broken. The whole reception hall got really quiet thinking that they were going to witness a huge knock down fight, but nothing happened. After my temper calmed down I was so embarrassed about the way I acted. Best part, the photographer got the whole thing on film, frame by frame...if we flip our pictures really fast you can see the whole punch begining to end, lol. Also, my husband has never smushed cake in my face again, lol. The next morning on our flight to Maui we both were picking cake out of our noses, lol.
