Topless Beach in NJ?
That's the buzz! The Asbury Park Deputy Mayor's asking the City Manager & City Attorney to consider it, saying, "Why not? It's a person's prerogative if they want to go topless." It's common in Europe & in Miami Beach as well! There is a nude beach in Sandy Hook belonging to the U.S. Park Service, but no municipality in NJ has topless sections...and actually, some beaches have banned topless tanning, including Belmar. Of course, many are against it, saying, "Some things need to be saved for intimate moments at home, not for everybody to see." Not everyone would see though...the proposal being considered would allow for "a topless section" of the beach.

No way!! I'm a mom of 3 boys and there's no way I would allow them to google over topless women! I'm teaching my boys to have respect for women, so how in the world can they do that when women don't respect themselves? It's bad enough young girls parade around in short skirts and thigh highs with mini tops. Asbury Park just wants publicity and more visitors. Miami Beach does NOT have topless beaches btw. I lived in Florida and been to Miami Beach. The most nudity I saw was a 5 yr old girl naked and people had a problem with THAT! The reason European beaches have nude sections is because they allow people to have sex out in the open. I'm sorry but I thought America was better than that... I'm disappointed.
